I am 18 years old and have the mirena. I get really bad cramps in the morning and sometimes get sick. I have recently read all the bad things about the mirena and am debating on whether to get the thing removed. I don't have a period on it which I love but am always wondering if I am pregnant. I am going to buy another test just to be sure but please help.

Go back to your doctor and discuss your symptoms with him. More than likely you will need to have this removed if your cramping continues.

So the weirdest thing happened now I am bleeding but it is very light this is the first time in a long time since the three months straight at the beginning.

I am 18 as well and I have the same symptoms... I have a feeling I am pregnant right now, and I have a 4 month old... ahhh!! I am calling my doctor in the morning and may be getting it taken out!
