Hello everyone, I have a problem with my 1992 honda accord LX. The fans are not turning ON as the temp rises above half way on the temp gauge.

I have switched the Fuses for the fan relay , AND THEY are working
I have also tested the fans with the AC and THEY ARE working..
What could it be. Thanks

Do they ever come on? (not with the a/c)
Hmmm... I think there is a temperature switch on the engine that triggers the fan. This will need to be confirmed.

Well one time a mechanic came and somehow the fans were working as he accelerated the car. But now that I watch the car while is on, the temperature rises but the fans don't turn on. The mechanic said that it's the coolant temperature sensor that was kind of old that needed to be replaced. It's the one kind of under and between the engine and where the intake goes. Thanks
