I'm using a product which contains 2% sepiwhite MSH but it also contains 2% BA... It's working quite well for me especially in evening-out my complexion which was my main goal... I can't say whether it's the BA or the Sepiwhite that's doing the trick though...

Hi, where did you get the 2% ba/sepiwhite? I haven't heard of that product.

Fanx for the info, how long did it take for you to strt noticing a chnge? Apperently sepiwhite is meant to show chnges 1st week... wot does BA stand for?

RedDiamond, I got this from the only place that sells BA despite all the bad comments about that site... I think you know which site... All their ready-made cream/lotion contains 2% sepiwhite MSH...

try2light, actually you're right, results were fast... I used it mainly around my eyes and on my chin because that's where I need lightening... lol... and within a couple of weeks my skin evened out... I still have dark circles around my eyes but not as dark as before and could easily be covered by make-up... I don't know if sepiwhite and BA will work as well with all skintone... Going by the chart posted here, I'm an olive tone 5...

BTW, BA stands for Benzyl Arbutin...

Oh yea I forgot that they updated their ingredients. What percent did u use? How long have you been using It for? How much lighter did u get? Thanks for the information. I Am thinking about using ba since they have stronger stuff

Hey RedDiamond,

I used the 2% ready-made lotion on my face and 5% on other places of my body like elbow, knees etc... I started by using the 5% on my face, but it burns like hell, that's why I use only 2% now... I've been using BA for a few months now (can't remember exactly how many months... probably about 3 months)... it works quite well for me...

I recently started a post about a product I am using containing Sepiwhite and Sepicalm which is lightening me very rapidly. I would say that these ingredients work very quickly.

I can't find it sorry I'm blind. What is Sepicalm and where may I acquire it? Thank you.

Hi Beautifulskin, can you post the before or after photos of your results?

Isn't this thread like from a year ago -- what's the OP's update on trying Sepiwhite? LOL

From what I hear, the fair & white exclusive whitenizer gel lightens very well but it's because it has hq in it, if you don't mind using hq. but the size I think is enough to apply on the face. I'm unsure if the rest of f&w products work well on lightening, but I think they also have products that are hq free.

What strength should Sepiwhite be used in a cream?

The fair & white exclusive whitenizer gel that comes in a blue tube in a golden box contains kojic acid as one of its main ingredients; it also has a seal on the box that says "original Euro Labo. Derma"...

However, there is a fake one out there that doesn't list Kojic acid on the box and it has a different name for Hq as well...

So, if anyone want to try this, and don't want to use Hq , then make sure you check the ingredient list and also check for the original seal...

What strength should Sepiwhite be used in a cream?

Recommended use level is 1-2% but I doubt this level is enough to lighten skin significantly...

I have the Fair and Flawless Soho Lightening parfait and it does work well.

Another one talking about the Parfait.
Hmmm it must be good, never tried it myself.
I've always bought the regular facial lightening cream.

Sometimes I forget about the Soho products because they are not on the front page like the other products. The Crème de Laser has been good for me so far.

It took about 2 weeks for me to notice a difference but I have a lot of sun damage & melasma. I started getting glycolic peels again too (35%) and that seems to help the Parfait along.

I also bought the F&F facial lightening cream but I haven't used it yet. My plan was to save that (& a few others) for after I'd cut through some of my crud layers. :p

Meanwhile I've been on a buying spree and adding all kinds of random products (items from the Philippines, old-school HQ like Nadinola etc) to my arsenal.

So far though the Parfait, glycolics, & sunscreen have been my mainstay. It's like a peel and 'bleach', peel and 'bleach' rhythm so far. It's gradual but effective so far. My goal is only an even tone.. not changing my entire base (trunk and unexposed bits) color or anything.

Yes! Exfoliation is very important to lightening.
I'm using Retin A with my skinlightening products.
I also have glycolic 40% and just received the mircrodermabrasion cloth I ordered.

I don't use all of those products at once though!
That would be too much.
I put half the tube of retin A in the facial lightening cream and mixed it in, so that's what I'm using right now.
The Retin A causes little peelies so I got the cloth to get rid those.

Trunk and unexposed bits? LOL! Your silly:p

lol.. I do sound nuts... trunk, maybe should said torso & décolletage, boobs, stomach:D...

OK, I sound like I've been bombing myself with everything but the kitchen sink. I have a small box full of items but I don't want to confuse myself. If something foul or good happens I want to know what to blame or credit (& rebuy)

So, I've been doing the glys about once a week - up to every 3 days.

Using the F&F Soho Lightening Parfait (can the title get any longer?? ) 2x day

Washing my face with Dove soap or the F&F cleansing scrub.

... In the last 2 weeks I've added the Othine (HQ) every other night.

Sunscreen is Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby spf 60+ (again these long titles)
or

Loreal Ombrelle SPF 44 for Kids

I did take 'befores' the day I rec'd the F&F package so I'll take some early 'after' pics to post here soon.

ps: Before the F&F I was using Chanel Performance Anti-Taches Dark Spot Corrector and Peter Thomas Roth Botanical Brightening Gel but nothing seemed to be moving. OTOH I wasn't really faithful with a regimen or sunscreen. I was very hit or miss.:o

Consistency seems to be key.

LOL, please don't be offended but I thought you were a guy when you said that. (trunk and unexposed bits) that sounded like you were talking about below the belt body parts. Ooooops! :o

I also have the Fair and Flawless cleansing scrub and the cleansing milk. I wash my face with Carley's Clear and Smooth natural soap.

Your skin regime sounds good to me just keep it up.

Consistency has been my problem. I would use a product and then stop for a while for some odd reason or switch to another product to see how that one works.

They all worked for me expect for The Spa Basin (another sepiwhite cream) and the cream I tried to make myself using ingredients from SkinActives. They didn't work for me at all. Oh well... I tried.

Thanks Gr8stuff, I heard there were some fake f&W around. I don't mind using hq as long as I know if it's one of the ingredients. I had heard about F&W gave a warning about this happening before. Maybe some places on Amazon sell the real thing?

Thanks, I will... I've had the skin care attention span of a gnat but now that 40 looms, I'm buckling down. I would do well for a while and go to my aesthetician regularly then go off the plan and roast at concerts or lay out. There were many years that I barely thought about my skin at all. Clean? Check.. not (too) ashy? Check.:p

I've read about people making their own products... I wish I had the patience & time to experiment more.

LOL@ the trunk (elephant?:D)& bits... sorry for throwing you off! I can see how that sounded penisesque, d'oh!
