Hi everyone,
First off, let me tell you that I am currently confused about my career plans. The reason I am writing this is because I love having people's opinion and this might even help me get on the right track. So, you're all welcome to reply! :)
Here's a few things about me:
- I LOVE foreign languages
- I speak English, French, Spanish and German fluently
- I am a college student with a background in psychology, teaching, and business
- I was thinking about becoming a language teacher, but I would like to use the language I know as tools and not leave a couple of them aside and teach only one
Now, I am thinking about becoming a translator. I know how to get there, but I am now kind of focusing on the end-result, not sure if this might be the path I want to follow.
In the future, I would like to live in Europe, travel a lot, continue to learn a couple more languages (I can't say it enough, but it's a real passion to me), and I am also hoping to work for the UN one day.
Any insight? It would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks in advance!
