I recently shaved and as the hair started to grow back, it itch a lot, and like then there were bumps from me scratching then I noticed a white scab over it, and plus I felt a bump under my pubic hair. Is that pubic lice? Because I do have a roommate?And there isn't any pus just blood! I'm really afraid and I can't really afford the examine, and if I had to I want to be sure that it wasn't anything I could do from over the counter! Please give me some advice:(:confused:

There are over the counter ointments to deal with them and it helps if the pubic area is shaved first. And yes, you will find blood because that is what they feed on. Infestations usually come from sexual contact or from sharing bed linen. At times you can see them on the sheets because they fall off, but they are very small.
