I got my laptop( c700) back form geeksquad and it has no operating system on it. I used the one for my desktop (gateway) it gets halfway done and says"windows cannot install required files. The file does not exist. Make sure all files required for installing are available. Restart the install. Error code 0x00700002" then I press OK another message pops up " Windows cannot access the install sources. Verify that the installed sources are accessible" So I restart it and it says to pick a driver and it doesn't give me an option of which driver to use so I browse and nothing is there. Can you help me PLEASE?

Windows Vista recovery Cd's cannot be used to completely re-install Vista on an empty hard drive!Sorry for your luck. Since pirating OS discs cannot be talked about on this forum, your only option is to purchase Windows Vista install not upgrade.
