I put a NON-Refundable deposit on a new motorcycle ordered by a AZ. Dealer. I live in las vegas, NV. Is it legal for him to keep my deposit if I have changed my mind?

Thanks,
Tom

Umm that's what non refundable means.

Yes it's legal, he may have to get the bike you ordered shipped in from somewhere so the deposit covers this fee in case you cancel... even if this is not the case there is always a reason for a non-refundable fee but they don't even have to tell you why.

Yes he may keep the deposit, that is why they call in non refundable.

Next time you need to really, really read the contract before you give someone your money. Non refundable means just that - you give them your money and don't get it back - gone forever - unless you go through with the transaction in full. It protects the seller, not the buyer. Beware.
