Hi, I am a 17 year old girl who wants to lose weight. Just enough so that I don't feel like a blob. I was 115 in February this year and now I and 144. My goal is to weigh at least 120. It seems everything goes to either my stomach or my thighs. PLEASE don't post saying "you're at the perfect weight as you are now" because I'm not. I've gone to our local convience store and people have asked if I am pregnant which I know I'm not. I have started running for 30 minutes for 5 days on and 2 off. I also have tried doing sit-ups and crunches and nothing is working. Please give me some tips.

Don't skip breakfast
And eat small healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.

For breakfast eat a citrus fruit, whole wheat and some protein
These should help increase your metabolism and help burn calories.

Do not eat or drink anything labeled diet. Avoid prepared prepackaged foods that contain lots of preservatives.

If you are exercising and still gained 30 pounds in less than a year, then you need to see a doctor and make sure there isn't something more serious going on.
