So, after this school year ends I"m going to a high school.
And I am really worried about it because I"ve heard about drugs being sold, the level of the education too high, gangs and stuff like that.
So yeah guys, tell me is it true, and what should I expect anyway.. :D

Just expect to stay out of trouble, be yourself, mind your own business. Stay away from drugs and booze, work hard and go on to higher education.
Good luck lackinglogic!

Hmmm I guess you want to hear what it was like... well, in high school I had no real friends. Everybody knew me and thought I was cool, but I had nobody to chill with after class. Girls just wanted me for sex, which I'm not really into, so I didn't have much of a relationship with a girl besides having my grabbed in the hallway or someone trying to seduce me. All the "cool kids" drink and smoke and party all the time, so I mostly avoided them. My grades sucked big time because I skipped class regularly and screwed around when I did go. Basically going to high school was a big waste of time for me

Higher education? It sounds so different than 'primary school'. ;)
Thanks for your answer.

Wanting you only for sex? Gosh, that's just sad.. I don't feel like I want to go there anymore
And anyway, you know how you said that your grades sucked -
Did it affect your choice of college/university much?
And thanks for sharing your experiences.
By the way sorry if I made mistake somewhere

This is going to sound cheesy, because I'm sure my mom and dad said something to this effect when I was younger, but if I were able to go back to school, I would do a lot of things differently. I hated high school, so I just kind of kept to myself. I would definitely try to be myself more and not be such a hermit. I played basketball my first year and quit the second because the girls were so horrible. I would not let them get the best of me if I were able to do it over. Like tickle said, just be yourself. Forget what people think about you - it will only hold you back from what you want to do.

I have been on both sides up the spectrum.
I HATED middle school without a doubt. I used to dream of blowing my school to pieces. I hated everyone, and I rarely spoke unless I was in a class that I liked. The summer before the ninth grade, I got my braces, and I became extremely confident. I opened up.
I LOVED high school. If you just be yourself, the right kind of people will be attracted to you.If you go into school looking like you want to die, and looking all "woe is me" and you aren't social, people pick up on that, and that's when you become the victim, or the person who is badgered everyday and hates going to school.--I know because I did a hell of a lot of teasing when I was there because of my "status"
One thing I do regret is not keeping my grades up my sophomore year. Your grades affect your admission into college in the long run.
Find an outlet.--theatre,choir,band,student council, football... something! If you have an outlet, or something to put your energy into, you won't have time to make stupid decisions with the wrong people.
HAVE FUN HAVE FUN HAVE FUN!!

Lol, this is all up to you, you know. Generally talking, you are who controls you. Nobody can make you do things you don't want to do. Even if you go to the worst schools in the nation, if you are determined to be clean, be good to yourself, than nothing but magic can make you join all that bad things. Think about your future. Control yourself! Don't worry too much.

High school is always up to the individual person. I, personally, LOVED high school. It was amazing.
High school has many different social groups / cliques. Don't change yourself to try to fit into them. Make your own friends and do what you want to do. All those things about drugs, gang violence, etc. etc. is because those are the things those people know from their own high school experience.
All in all, high school is what you make it to be. It can be the best time of you life, as it was for me and others who have posted here, or it can be the worst, as some have said it was for them.
