Hellow help desk, my name is wes and I'm new to this site so please bare with me. I need to replace my ejector pump. My ? Is do I need the well to be empty when putting the new pump in

Hi Busywes...
It doesn't have to be cleared of water, but you will enjoy working on this a bit better if it has been pumped clear of dirty water...
Can always take the new pump and connect it to a hose, drop it in the pit and then turn it on to pump the pit clean. I would do that at a minimum... ;)
You would need a 2" x 3/4" black bushing and a 3/4" male x male hose fitting to connect a garden hose to the pump.

Thank you for the tip on the water in my pit. It hepled out a great deal to not half to work in the slop. Every thing went well.
