My granddaughter is 14 I took her to a beauty college to have her hair streaked and they overbleached her hair mind you she was in the chair 6 and a half hours, her hair is a total loss it took 3 people to comb out the knots in her hair and it just fell out by the handsful, then they charged me 87.50 to top it all off. Please respond thanks

That's horrible service! Did they really overbleach it? If you feel they did a poor job then you can sue them. They should have at least charged a smaller amount for ruining your granddaughters hair.

It was a beauty college. Where was the supervisor over the student? This is awful for her to have her hair ruined, but they should not have charged you anything - $87 is an insult. I'd go back to the beauty school and speak with whoever is in charge and demand a refund and also decide what sort of monetary compensation you feel is fair for the child and if they refuse to pay, take them to court. But in the meantime, take pictures of her hair, lots of pictures to prove the case. Also keep any paperwork and present that in court.

And I'd take any paperwork with me. Did you sign a release? I'm surprised they would work on a 14 year old but this may vary from area to area.
That doesn't give them the right to "ruin" the hair but it does muddy the picture.
If you purchase any products to help get the hair back into acceptable condition, those expenses are part of her loss.
Did you pay the $87 - ?
