Hamptonbay ceiling fan , 1.6 yr old , light stopped working... went to Lowe's to buy replacement light,, not available,, sales man sold me a new pull switch,, 2 wire , installed

I believe, since Hampton Bay is an exclusive brand from home Depot, and I believe they have a life time warranty, they will replace the entire fan and light.

Beyond that, our resident fan expert will be by in a day or so.

All I know is how to bring the power to the unit.

Check the blue wire at the ceiling, check all the connections at the light.

Ceilingfanrepair, thank you, what a great web site, I learned a lot. I have eight fans in my house that are all HarborBreeze from Lowe's and they are all four years old, I am having a few concerns. But I do not want to steal this thread. I will start one myself with my own questions.
