Hey guys,
I posted a new question the other day, and no has responded... I'm just wondering if it is because I'm new to this site or because no one has an answer?? My question was, what are any other symptoms besides "THE USUAL ONES"... That may be relative to pregnancy, like not being able to concentrate, or extra bloating/cramps, extra firmness in breasts but still tender.. And what are some remides to calm the mind, from always thinking about pregnancy. My problem is I'm trying to get pregnant, but I'm constantly thinking about it, and I've heard that if your always thinking about it, that chances are you won't, IS THAT TRUE?? I'm supposed to start this week, but haven't yet, and I usually start right after my bloating/cramping starts, and so far NO PERIOD... I've been extra moody, bloating like crazy. So My mind is racking and I want some help...
All of the things you mentioned are pg symptoms for some people, but the list goes on and on and sometimes the subconcious mind can make some of the symptoms seem stronger... know what I mean?? At least that was the case for me. I would suggest taking a pg test if you are 5 days late or more. Babydust, hon, I hope your babydreams come true soon! As for how to "not" think about it, do just that- focus on other aspects of your life & try to relax. I know that is much easier said than done. I tried to conceive for 5 year (2 years with fertility Dr's) before conceiving my first child, so I know just how very crazy it can be. ((((Hugs))))
Yes, dear what you hear can be true. It is called a pseudopregnancy. Literally translated it means false pregnancy. When you want something like this so bad your body has the capacity to act as though it you truly are pregnant.
I am sure people tell you to "relax" it will happen. While it is hard to take this advice, it is true. That is what the previous poster suggested and it worked for her.
Let's start with your age. How old are you? Married? Are your cycles regular? Believe it or not, all of these do come into play when you are in the situation you speak of.

Thirty years ago, my ex-husband was a very happy man because it took me at least three times a day and six months to get pregnant. I had stopped the pill in July and did not get pregnant until Jan the next year. I was relaxed and did not constantly think about it, but I was hoping that my period would not show up each month.
All of us women are a little different, and sometimes it takes a lot of 'trying'. As asked before, are you 'regular'? It would be a good idea to see your doctor and get a check-up.
Have you tried an HPT?
Good luck dear, keep us posted.
