I have a dying electric stove and want to replace it with gas... anyone know how difficult and/or expensive it is to run a gas line to the kitchen? We have a gas furnace and water heater in the garage, which adjoins the kitchen. Just starting to look at ballpark figures...

Best to call local for exact estimates. There is no such thing as ballpark due to changes in labor rates and material markup around the country. What might cost 200.00 in Alabama could be a easy 600.00 in New York. Make sure you get at least two estimates and three if you have the time. Also call the BBB to check if the company has had complaints filed on them.
