If P(A)=5/13, what are the odds that event A will occur? ____TO_____

If the probability of A occurring is 5/13, then the odds is simply 5:18 of it occurring.

Rolcam: sorry, but this has nothing to do with what the OP asked. You are showing how to calculate the combination of 13 things taken 5 at a time - for example if you have a deck of 13 cards it's how many ways you can select 5 of them. Nothing at all to do with odds.

Odds are 5 to 8
P(A) = 5/13
P(not A) = 1 - 5/13 = 8/13
Odds of A occurring = P(A)/P(not A) = 5/8 i.e. 5 to 8
