Have a Excel doc with 15 pages, around 120 rows (representing days with 1 row representing either 3 or 4 day so that 2 rows is 1 week) and 60 columns on each page, data appears a either a 1 or 2 and only in 8 columns in each row. What I want to do is create a formula that can tell me how many days pass on average, covering all pages on in the doc, between either a 1 or 2 appearing on that column any help you can give me will help as I am not that good with computers

Your description is impossible to visualize.

If you will post a sample workbook showing a range of days and then the answers you'd like to see (and where) and how you manually figured out that example answer, I'll look at a way to automate that so you can expand it to your needs.
