I'm really confused about these feelings I have been having this past year.

First of all they are to do with a man I met 3 years ago. We started to get on very well and we started to like eachither. We all of a sudden just stopped calling or having any contact. I am married and have forgotten about him. But in March this year I started to get these weird emotions that I can describe and my body felt so weird and I knew like something was trying to get through to me and I couldn't figure it out. All of a sudden this guys name kept repeating in my head and I couldn't understand it. I went onto is webpage and found him on there. He wasn't on there before as I would have seen it due to mutual friends. I fell sick for 3 days with no valid reason. I still can't understand it. After 2 weeks the same emotions and feelings happened and again I got news this guy was going overseas. When he finally did go I felt better again. I then kept seeing him in my dream where he would just stare at me but wouldn't speak and I would shy away and try to hide. These dreams finally dies down. Then about 3 months ago I was planning a trip and told myself out of the blue that I couldn't go on a certain day because I will see him. I thought to myself I am being ridiculous but ended going on that day because that was the only day I could go and I saw him and he saw me! It was the most awkard day of my life. We just looked at each other and he kept staring at me like in the dreams and I just turned away and wouldn't look back! I still get really big intuitions about him but I can't figure out why and why I am getting them. I still to now can get up in the morning and know I will receive news about him and I do.

Should I speak to this guy even though it has been this long? This is really affecting my marriage and I want to sort this out. Any suggestions people?

I can't address the weird feelings, but I can adrees your boundaries. Its so disturbing to hear that those feelings are affecting your marriage, and that's because you let them.

I know you cannot control what feelings you have, but you can control your actions.

The truth is your married, and a blast from the past has you distracted. Cope with it, and get back on the path of your own life, without him in it.

No, You won't get permission to follow your heart from me, but do handle yourself as a mature adult, who loves your family.
