Two years ago I was in a CPS battle with the state of washingon in Oak Harbor. I admitted to what I had done, and I did have one case founded and another unfounded. I thought that my son would be returning home soon. There was things that I was asked to do that I had not
Gotten all the requirements fullfeled, and I admit that. I needed more time. I was told by my caseworker that, when I went to get my cancer checked out that had returned during this prosses that I might as well get my tubs tied because any other children I have he will see that the state takes. Then months later after I had asked to get a new case worked and was denied, I asked the area head. I got to see her with the one in charge in my town and my case worker and myself no lawer, I asked the question am I going to get my son home and I was told that my life style and what I had presened them I was not. In response I said" You would rather give a crack head mother a child then some one like me" (I have a mental dissablity) they all said yes. My lawer said nothing when I told her just stop fight and sigh the papers and then I did In December of last year. He Needs to be home and not living with his 70 year old great-grandmother and very medicade aunt

Judging from what you say in your post regarding your problems, I can see why your son was put up for adoption. You advised your lawyer to give up and you gave up too at the time. Now I don't think you have any recourse but to leave well enough alone.

I agree with tickle. I see no grounds for reversing the adoption.

At least the child is with someone you can visit with.
