My 6 year old daughter's father has had no contact for about 1 year, and has not paid Child Support at all. He is in jail right now. How can i get his rights taking away from him before he gets out??????

Most likely you can't. Getting a TPR is very difficult. You would have to prove he is a danger to her.

You would stand a better chance if you remarried and your new husband wanted to adopt.

You will need to consult an attorney to have any chance at this.

The only thing you can do is go to family court and apply for full custody and try to prove he is an unfit father. At best that will get him supervised visitations. You really can't get his rights taken away. You should also update and/or get any child support orders re-enforced on him when he gets out.

I agree with the above answers. Judges don't just grant TPR's to everyone that wants one (and plenty on both sides of the situation do) the fact is that two people made the kid two people will have rights and responsibilities. What you can do is ask the judge to only allow supervised visitation and get your support order modified when he gets out because obviously he can't pay while in jail and the courts know that.
