While I was writing the following the last thread was closed and would like to still be herd and also say that my comments were not racial attacks but showing how ridiculous I feel breed stereotyping is.
BTW I am German/Irish FYI

My profanity was rash and I am sorry for that but as I said personal attacks are uncalled for on all parts. I am not saying that I want to breed my pups with each other. It is my feeling and experience that breeding a female before fixing them doesn’t make them more calm but more loyal. The male will be fixed as soon as we get back on our feet the female after she has a litter. Right now I am having to prioritize food in all of our mouths and a roof over our head... I was raised on the land always with horses, goats dogs and cats along with a cornucopia of other livestock and pets. I know how to care for them and my dogs are like our children. They sleep in our bed and have never been hit or otherwise mistreated. Very soon we will be relocating to my land on the Tuolumne River in CA, with plenty of room for them to run and play. They are our family and are very well cared for.

I will not attempt to post on this particular forum again unless invited and I will be more amiable...

Peace... Out...

Your thread was closed for good reason. This is a bold faced attempt to start it under another heading. I suspect it will be a very long time before you are "invited" back to this forum - or any other.

I have no idea where you get your experience with animals from - breeding a female will make her more loyal? - and would like to see some proof of that.

Otherwise - this is a transparent attempt to open a post closed because YOU are offensive.

I have to agree with Judy, and would also like to see the proof that letting a female have a litter makes her more loyal. The fact is, it makes her more feeble, more likely to get cancer, and more likely to die. Those are proven facts and I am more than willing to show evidence of such. Don't make me post pictures, they will haunt you for the rest of your life, I guarantee it.

The fact remains, you may love you dogs, but you are ill informed when it comes to the subject of breeding. Millions of dogs are euthanized yearly because of backyard breeders like you.

So, instead of being deffensive, open you mind and listen to what we have to say. You may learn something in time to save your dogs.

This thread is now CLOSED as it appears to be a revival of the other thread that was closed due to member abuse.
