I stop taking my birth control shot this month because my husband is in jail and I am going to be faithful to him and not have intercourse with no one else and when I knew when he a be coming home I was going to get back taking the shot. I was wondering if it was okay for me to stop taking it all of the sudden.

I do not see why it would be a problem, I was taking the birth control pill for about 7 years and then my ex wanted me to get off it because he had me convinced that if I were to continue taking the pill I wouldn't be able to have kids when I wanted to. Well as soon as I stopped taking it I got pregnant, and after I had my daughters I went right back on the pill.
