I have a two handle shower. I am trying to replace the valves. I finally got the old ones out but after I installed the new ones no water comes out of the shower head. Any ideas?

Thanks

If you get water out of the spout then remove the shower head and try it again. If you get a stream pry out the rubber washer with holes around the rim and toss it. Check for any trash that may be remaining. Reinstall and try it now. If you stiull have no joy then click on nbback and tell me about it. Good luck, Tom

I took off the shower head and the hot works but not the cold. The cold only stickled before that is why I decided to change out the valve stems.

Thanks

Ok lets remove the cold stem and turn on the water to flush out the debris from the faucet, install the stem and try, hope it will work, Thanks.
