I have a radiant space heater(120v - 1500watts). I plugged it into a new medium duty extension cord(125v - 1625 watts) and now my heater will not work at all. It worked briefly when first plugged in but now there is no power going to the heater at all even if it is plugged directly into the wall socket. Is it possible that I somehow "blew" the cord out when using the extension cord? If so, Can I just have the cord replace?

debbiewake1965 - Before you go and replace the cord , go to your main power panel and check to see if you triped a breaker, it may be just halfway over to off position or may be all what to the off positiion , to reset the breaker push all the way to off position and then all way to on position , did the cord get real hot? You also may have something gone wrong inside the heater, have it checked out to find out , there could be a wire burnt off on the inside or about four other things that could have happened , { CHECK IT OUT BEFORE Using IT AGAIN ::: STAY SAFE AND GOD BLESS .F.B.E.
