Hi,

1. I am working for a X company located in GA as a consultant on H1.
2. My X company made a contract with Vendor Y located in TEXAS.
3. Y vendor made a contarct with Z company located in CA
4. Z vendor made a contract with final client G located in MA

I came on H1 and I stayed with my brother in TEXAS and I am using the same residence address as my residence address in all my bank statements.

My employer runs GA state tax. Is it possible to ask him to run my tax on Texas address so that state tax will not be charged.

Thank you

Since you live in Texas and since Texas has NO state income tax, that settles your tax liability for your state of residence.

However, you also owe taxes to the state where you work.

If you work in Texas, you owe nothing. If you work in GA, CA or MA (or all three), you owe taxes for the income earned in GA, CA or MA (or all three).
