I'm a 16 years old and I've never met, seen, talked to, received an email, or any thing from my biological father, and I have recently been offered an oppurtunity that predestines me a bright future and I would like his parental rights revoked. God only knows how much child support he owes besides 16 years worth and it's not like my mother hasn't looked for him, but no one knows where he is, and I really don't care, but is there anyway to do terminate them without his knowledge and presence. I live in the state of Mississippi, so if anyone can give any advice, I'm all for it.

WHy do you want to terminate his rights ? It sounds like he isn't trying to use his rights anyway. And what is it you believe your predestined to do ?

Possible, maybe, what is your "bright future" I see no reason this future would require this.

But your mother will have to want and do all for the work.
1. is there a new husband that is willing to adopt ?

Has mother turned this over to a state child support enforcement, has a private det been hired to find him

The issue is courts really don't want to terminate ay rights

First there is nothing that you can do. He dosen't owe you anything if your mother went to court sixteen years ago then she is owed whatever support was ordered over the last sixteen years. If she didn't then she isn't owed any support either. She is the only one that can even petition the court to terminate his rights has she been remarried for at least a year to a man that wants to adopt you?
