What comes up when you right click on I: when in windows explorer?

Try and shutdown PC normally with drive unattached

Once shutdown, turn on and get into windows and then attach drive to see if can be detected

If not detected, check device mgr for any yellow marks present

What operating system you're running, and its version?

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any software or hardware that you installed or setup
