My guy wants to marry sooner then we planned, since our parents are bugging us and all we are really waiting for is money and the date we like June 11, 2011 it's a Saturday. So, his idea is get married legally and then marry in the church on that date and have a party and guests then. I do have to finish my study's in the church since my parents never took me to church and my guy use to be an alter boy. That is something I would like to do before we marry in the church, even though we can marry as we are. Any way I'm not sure, what do you guys think? To wait or not wait?

You will have your wedding blessed in church, it is not another wedding, since you would already be married.
I guess what are your ages, what are you planning to do, who is working, what type of jobs, where will you be living.

So, what do you Brides and brides to be think? I would like your comments.
Marry now and have the wedding later (renewal of vows) in church with party afterwards or wait 2 more years?
Thanks :)

Is there any particular pressing reason that you want to be married in a court house now, other than your parents pushing you to be? That's not a reason to have a quickie courthouse wedding as far as I'm concerned. What is the hurry?
Personally, I would wait. Finish your church studies, save your money, have a beautiful church wedding, and reception. There is something to be said for waiting. It makes it something to look forward to, to plan for, and just more exciting all the way around.
I think right now you should be working on planning your "marriage". The "wedding" is 'one day'! The marriage is hopefully a lifetime! Too many marriages have ended, because the focus has been on the wedding, and not on the actual long term commitement of the marriage. I would focus on that right now, and wait for the church ceremony and celebration. :)

It's actually not uncommon with this economy. The time it would take to save up for a big huge down payment on a house wedding is very very hard.
It's also not uncommon for military personal (leave is a difficult thing to come by during war sometimes).
If you are comfortable. If your parents and family are OK with it I'd do it
