I have a boyfriend, we've been using the natural method of birth control for almost three years because we still don't want to have baby. How long it will be applicable for us? We're planning to get married after 4 years, that's the only time I could say that I'm prepared. At this point I'm afraid to use pills or other methods away from the natural one. Please give an advise. Thank you.

By natural method, do you mean the rhythm method ? Sorry, don't count on that. What do you mean 'how long will it be applicable to you'?
If you don't want children until you are married, then I suggest you go on birth control or use condoms.

Why be afraid of using a condom? The failure rate is
The pregnancy rate tied to the rhythm method is commonly listed around 10-20%. Understand the best rates depend on "perfect" use... and its not uncommon to not have "perfect" use...
The problem is methods like this work best on women whose cycles are predictable... and you cannot predict when your cycle will suddenly be unpredictable... age, illness, diet, many things can change your cycle.
So... the honest truth is if you have sex, with or without birth control, you have no guarantees. My son was conceived while using birth control that had typical 5% failure rate AND while tracking her cycle with rhythm.
So... my advice is at least track your cycle, understand your body, and use birth control... why he cannot use a quality sensative condom is beyond me... explain?
