We have a colored concrete driveway located in Southern Colorado that is about a year old and it is starting to look uneven/stained. We were told the driveway should be sealed and have had a rather high estimate provided for several thousand dollars. First, my experience w/ sealing is it only last about 2 years, especially dealing w/ snow and salt, so is it even worth it? Second, is several thousand dollars not outrageously high? Any recommendations or other sources of information would be helpful.
Thank you

Unless you have a HUGE driveway, several thousand dollars to seal it is way out there. Call your local ready-mix concrete company and ask them where you can get some quality sealer for your driveway and seal it yourself. Where I live, they sell it themselves and it's not too expensive. CS-309 is a good one if they have it. Clean it real well and make sure you get all the grease spots and such off. I'd do it every year where you are located... especially a tinted driveway..

Go to your local building supply store and ask for a concrete sealer. It is very easy to apply
