My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year and since our first month dating I met this guy who turned out to be one of my best guy friends
We can stay up and talk for hours and never run out of things to say

My boyfriend and I were doing AMAZING up until we hit about our one year.
Ever since then its been down hill and BORING.
We haven't had sex b.c I want to wait and he's been okay with that
About a month ago my friend and I (we'll name him.. Jay) So jay and I were talking one night and we both decided wow we really like each other buh we both are dating other people. And we both love the people were with.
I really want to be with him buh I don't think he's will to end things with his g.f of a year quite yet.
I want him to know that I'm willing to end things with my current boyfriend buh I also don't know it I'm want to do that. I love them both buh if things with my current boyfriend are already boring then its only going to get worse right?
So my question... do I stay with the person I've been with for the last year and a half whom I do love buh am getting "bored with"

Do I end things with him and try to work things out with my friend jay whom I dotn even know if he truly wants to end things with his current g.f

Should I just say screw men and be single for a while

And you should NOT be staying with your current boyfriend under these circumstances. If you're bored, if you're willing to break up with him anyway, why are you just staying with him? You're wasting his time and yours. How would you feel if you were in his shoes? Pretty awful right? You should.

Your friend has a girlfriend too. Is he even thinking about how this will affect her either? If he has feelings for you he should have told her, and likewise, you should have said something to your boyfriend. What you are doing is called emotional cheating.

So break it off with your boyfriend and don't go after this guy friend unless he is single himself.
