I'm 35 yrs old and I really like this guy who is 39 and he's a good friend of mine but are both married in unhappy relationships as he is only with his wife for the kids sake and my husband is a cheat. I ended up telling my friend how I felt about him and he wasn't surprised but didn't say he didn't fell the same. He is very shy and his response when I told him was that he would'nt make the first move, but our friendship has got stronger since I told him but I'm unsure what to do as I don't know how to read that he won't make the first move does that mean that he would like things to go further but just wants me to take that first step? Please help me with this problem because I think I'm falling in love with him.

Hi, alex99!
How long have you been married and how long has he been married, please? It would be helpful for those who do come along to address your question to know that.
Thanks!

Your in a really bad situation, and this thing with this fellow cannot help your marriages, but can make things worse.
Of course he wants you to make the first move, as this makes everything your fault when it goes sour, and it will.
Of course you think since home is lousy, you deserve some happiness. You may even feel your entitled to cheat because, your husband is cheating. Your not. Your just stooping to his level, and that doesn't solve your problem.
He says he stays for the kids, I doubt that, as every cheater will say that to get sympathy.
I get your miserable, but let be real here, and see how much worse things will be if you get in to deep, with another married person, and maybe you should be solving your own issues at home, rather than making more.
I hope you think about it more.
