I have been seeing someone for four months now. We met at a work event and have been on several dates since then. We have spent the night at eachothers houses and get along very well. But because we just casually began hanging out, we haven't had 'the talk'. He is older than I am and I have a child. I want to take things to another level but can't find the words. What should I do/say?

Just tell him how you feel. Don't tell him you want to get married already... that might scare him off. Tell him that you feel that there is something special between you guys... and elaborate from there. If he feels the same way... ENJOY!

Well what I can say here is its better to be as friends rather than going to the next level.
But I prefer if he is Unmarried check out whether is he looking for a bride? If yes then try to check with him the qualities so that if that matches the criteria of your's then go ahead
