My Panasonic television shuts off every few minutes and then turns on by itself.:confused:

First let's try to determine if there is an electrical failure with the outlet or it's the TV.

Get an extension cord long enough to allow you to connect the TV to another room outlet.

Plug the TV in and turn it on. If the TV continues to fail, then more then likley you have a power supply problem with the TV.

If the failure goes away, then you more than likely have a problem with the outlet, which could range from an over-loaded circuit to loose connections.

If the problem is the outlet, then I suggest you move this post to the "Electrical / Lighting" forum.
