Hi - We are remodeling and decided to include a water softener. Our new refrigerator was hooked up w/o the ice-maker because the old line wasn't/couldn't be hooked up to the old system in place. When the new softener was installed and hooked up to the refrigerator, no water was coming out the dispenser. It was decided the line to the ice-maker was either clogged or kinked: the line disappears behind a wall where the 2nd story begins and doesn't appear again until it comes out of the wall behind the refrigerator. The softener installers said the only hope for the ice-maker would be tearing up all the ceilings to run a new line (since my kitchen sink is located in an island.) Second opinion said it could be hooked up from the Master Bathroom sink, as the refrigerator wall/master bath wall are one in the same. (Before, the line went from behind the refrigerator up into the ceiling, over the bedroom into the garage.)
Now, my shower (which was working GREAT before) just barely comes out! It's a hand-held shower. When I turn the unit so it's facing up, instead of water shooting to the ceiling it barely rises an inch! I told the installer; they cleaned out the shower-head and while it was not as good as before, it was okay. Now it's back to the same drizzle. (It has not been a week since we did all this - the softener and the ice-maker were hooked up on Thursday.)
ANY ideas on what's going on?
Thanks in advance!!
