I was woundering does anyone know why my kenmore elite electric dryer will not heat anymore? Maybe it's the heating element, but where would it be located at? How could I check it myslef to see if the heating element is my problem the reason it won't heat anymore? Is there a way to check it?

I have heard that I can tap on the element to see if any lent is keeping it from heating, but I don't know where to look for the element at.

If someone knows could u please let me know.

First you must verify that you still have 240 volts at the receptacle. Test the power and let us know what the reading is.
