Hi, I'm afro Caribbean and I was using the clearasil deep cleansing pad on my face. I think I rubbed on spot too hard and its now left me with a big dark mark on my forehead. Is it hyperpigmenttation? Anyway I can get rid of it?

Ive already been using bio oil, but it works sooo slow. Is there any creams I can use to speed it up?

Yes it's probably hyperpigmentation from rubbing it too hard.
I've done that myself, had to wait until it healed because when
I washed my face that spot would sting because of the cleanser.

I think a skin lightener cream will help.
I'm not too familiar with Bio Oil.
If it does not work try some another product.

If its from rubbing the skin too hard, I don't think you really need any creams.. it will most likely go away on its own, just put some sort of protecting moisturizer with vitamins on it, like aveeno or something. A film of vaseline at night will also help.

The worse thing you could do is to start worrying about how to remove the mark and what to use.
Your skin has a way of healing itself and if you interrupt the process it could make it worse.

Treatment of hyperpigmentation may include hydroquinone, kojic acid, azelaic acid, ascorbic acid, tretinoin (Retinol), topical glucocorticoids, and licorice extract. All treatments fail if the affected area is exposed to the sun with inadequate UVA/UVB protection

Hello,
And yes those do work a lot faster, but I think they'll be bad in the long run... like it might make 1 light spot on your forehead, contrasting the rest of the skintone[happened before:o ] but I'm pretty sure the skin is just irritated from being rubbed.. my number 1 advice is to keep it mousturized, and if you're self conscious about it try a new hairstyle with bangs, or side bangs(where ever the mark is) good luck:)
