I don't know who I am either. I suppose we find ourselves by doing things that make us happy. If you have to do those things alone, so be it, but eventually you will have to run into like minded individuals if you are participating in the things that make you happy.
Hi random_chick,
I was under a lot of strain at one point in my life(one of many) when I lost even the name and who/what/why in my life.
I asked for help from friends.. etc
I ended up seeking professional help and was introduced to medications which TOTALLY changed my life.
This was almost 15 years ago,I was more than fuzzy minded, had the robot mentality, you know, get up,eat, shower,go to work, come home eat,go to sleep.. over and over.
Not living, just existing to exist, kind of humdrum if you know what I mean.
I got worried after a while and sought a therapist, who got me on my first anti-depressant,Zoloft.It honestly helped me come to a clear, functional life.
I would look at seeking a person to person meeting with a counselor in your area,It can't be any worse than how you feel today.
Write back soon,
KBC
