Can someone give me any information on Interstate Unemployment? My home state is Iowa. I have been working in Ia, Mn and Tx.

Hello t:

You need to apply in the state where you last worked. They will gather all the relevant income data from the different states.

Actually excon, they merely file at the local office where they are now living, They will pull up all of your records and the last state you worked will be the primary and you will be paid according to earnings for the qualified quarters.

They will handle all of it for you

If you file at your local office doesn't your claim check get regulated to that state... meaning that if you file ina state that pay 600.00 weekly benefits and your home state only pays 300.00... then the most you get is 300.00... is that correct?
