First off, thank you for taking the time to read my question:
Do you think you could weigh in on this?:

It kind of started of the blue-- my vagina started to swell and it was hard and inflamed around my vulva area, but it's never happened up until I started shaving that area... also I tried a new body wash and that irritated it too I suppose.

So my friend told me I have a yeast infection.

I took the monistat 3-day treatment and the symptoms all cleared up except for the swollen vagina.

Where I feel irritated at most is where all the stubble is from shaving, but that doesn't explain the swollen part, nor does it explain the dry vulva.

I switched to Summer's Eve body wash for down there... I don't know. I'm so confused and I pray that it's not an STD.

I can't engage in intercourse with my boyfriend because last time I did that my dry vulva felt like it was going to tear.

Thank you again if you read all this I do hope that you will put in your two cent.

Firstly a woman's little bits should always be washed by water alone. Soaps and body washes can be very drying and irritating.

Beyond that, you will need to seek medical attention for a proper diagnosis and treatment. It could be virtually anything, but only an exam by a medical professional will give you the right diagnosis.
