I have colored my hair a dark brown (Clariol) for over a year. Now I wish to return to my natural state which is very dark brown beautifully mixed with grey. I have about two inches of natural growth at the root base, but the outer length is a nasty red-ish brown. I don't want to recolor, as would just set me back another year. Can this be stripped at a salon back to my natural state? I have been using dandruff shampoo to strip the color for several weeks and it seems to just be turning it more red. Help Please
