Today's Gospel (Lk 15:1-10): Tax collectors and sinners were seeking the company of Jesus, all of them eager to hear what He had to say. But the Pharisees and the scribes frowned at this, muttering. «This man welcomes sinners and eats with them».

So Jesus told them this parable: «Who among you, having a hundred sheep and losing one of them, will not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and seek out the lost one till he finds it? And finding it, will he not joyfully carry it home on his shoulders? Then he will call his friends and neighbors together and say: ‘Celebrate with me for I have found my lost sheep’. I tell you, just so, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one repentant sinner than over ninety-nine upright who do not need to repent.

»What woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one, will not light a lamp and sweep the house in a thorough search till she finds the lost coin? And finding it, she will call her friends and neighbors and say: ‘Celebrate with me for I have found the silver coin I lost!’. I tell you, in the same way there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one repentant sinner».

Will you cause joy to happen in Heaven?

Yeh, I keep the angels clapping almost every day as I repent of another old action of the clinging flesh and get a little more renewed into the image of God.

2 Cor 3:17-18
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
RSV

OR... the KJV

2 Cor 3:17-4:1

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

When my boys were saved they loved hearing that their was a great celebration going on in heaven just for them. ":) Course I need to remind them when they repent for their shanagans there is more celebration.

Thanks for the thought Arcura!

A more important question to consider is "will I be in heaven"
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

saintjoan,
Yes that is an important question.
But the answer to my question involves repentance of our sins so that we can go to heaven.
