I have a 1988 harley davidson flstc heritage softail, I like the bike the way it is , but I would love to convert it to a springer front end. Can I do this with year/style bike and where do I get the parts? Thank you for looking. "DOC"

Don't know if you ever got an answer but yes it's possible to put a springer on your bike. Here's a couple places that sell them...
J&P Cycles (Parts For Your Harley®, Honda Motorcycle Parts - J&P Cycles® (http://www.JPCYCLES.com))
Jireh Cycles (Aftermarket & Custom Motorcycle Parts - Harley Davidson Parts - Cycles (http://www.JIREHCYCLES.com))
FYI... springers take more maintenance and they aren't just a "bolt on" item so do some calling around before you just buy it and try to install.
