Hello all , I have a 1953a five dollar bill, e51292403a, I was wondering if its worth anything, I've read post about the red seal & star & was wondering if this 1 is special... also it has priest as the treasurer & anderson as the secretary... any insight would be helpful

Ptkizzy - The note that you are talking about is a SILVER CERTIFICATE
1935A} { $ 5.00 ] [ Blue SEAL] [
SIGNATURES ARE PRIEST - ANDERSON
VF-20 UNC-63
#1656. - $8.50 $ 35.00
# 1656* $ 25.00 $ 75.00
Notice the number mark at the start,
One has a period and the other has a star
After the # sign . PRODUCTION OF THE SILVER CERTIFICATE ENDED IN 1962
Vf-20 ,means VERY FINE _GRADE 20
UNC-63 Means UNCIRCULATED _GRADE 63 I hope this answers your question, if not come back and see us . Remember this id out of the 2008 RED BOOK ON USA CURRENCY< A Collector will most of the time pay a higher price
It really would depend on how bad they needed that certain bill to go in their collection. ;; Good LUCK and GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
