Does anyone know a work around to getting VNC to work with Windows server 2008?
Or suggestions as to other freeware that can be used?
I don't want to use remote desktop as there are times where I need to see exactly what the user sees on the desktop.

Here is the link for Remote Assistance:
hcp://CN=Microsoft%20Corporation,L=Redmond,S=Washington, C=US/Remote%20Assistance/Escalation/unsolicited/unsolicitedrcui.htm
It is built in and you can watch or take control of the desktop.
There looks like there is a space between Washington, and the letter C but there is not.

I realize that could work but I believe you need someone on the other end to accept the connection for remote control?
Ideally I was looking for something that can allow me to connect without user interaction, mainly for working on remote servers.
I haven't used the remote assitance for a while so I may be wrong?
