My house has two bathrooms and a septic tank which was pumped out 4 years ago and there are only two of us in the house. The bathroom that we use is the one closest to the septic tank if that makes any difference. But when we take a shower, the toilet will gurgle, or bubble or make a glug-glug sound... The toilet does seem to get stopped up easily and the toilet itself was replaced this year. I am trying to figure out the best way to go about this problem, either pump the septic to see if it fixes it or do I need a plumber to snake it out? Thanks for any advice you can give me!

Hey Vito, Greetings from Sarasota.
Which is it? Does it bubble or does it gurggle? If it bubbles you'll see them and if it gurggles you'll hear it. Can't be both, which one is it? Regards, Tom

What I need to know if this is a bubble or a gurgle that you're hearing. This is important for me to know so I can better address the problem. Ya go after a bubble differently then you do a gurgle. Cheers, tom

I'm sorry! I'm not explaining it too well. (my fault not yours) Let me see if I can make it a little clearer. I need you to stand over the toilet bowl when it's doing its thing and tell me what you see. Do you see any bubbles or simply hear a gurgle? What part of Florida are you in? Cheers, Tom
