I loaned a girlfriend $800.00 to make rent after a big sob story and now she doesn't want to pay the money back. All I have is a copy of the check to show for the loan.What can I do to get my money back?

You'll need to sue her. File your case in small claims court, and then call Judge Judy. It's good because they pay the judgment. If you sue her in regular court and win, collecting is VERY hard to do.
