Hi! My husband and I have been arguing about this for waaaaaaay too long! Does the kind of kitchen faucet you have make a difference in the pressure of water you get?

A lot of things enter into house pressure but the type of faucet you have in your kitchen will neither add or diminish pressure to it. But if you locate one that will add pressure please let me know. Cheers, Tom

Yes and No. I assume you are talking about "pressure" at the kitchen sink.

Lots of today's faucets have built-in flow restrictors, back flow preventers, and volume reducing aerators. You can find faucet where you can remove these flow reducing inserts and as a result , you get lots of flow. ( in your terminology: pressure )

But please, don't forget: if you use un-aerated water than water will splash all over and you will use twice as much water as with aerator installed. Kitchen sink is the last fixture in your house you want to use w/o aeration.
