Learn to occupy your thoughts with more constructive things.
Realize you need to forgive yourself for anything you are downing yourself about and recognize your good qualities and focus on them.

Let me preface what I'm about to say by telling you that I am not a professional. However, I do recognise what you have described as symptoms of something bigger going on. And if we were shooting in the dark about possible diagnoses, if I were you, I would look into anxiety, or more specifically, generalized anxiety. This really depends on everything else you've got going on in your life and how much the feelings you described are involved in your life on a daily basis.

If I were you, I would consider talking to a therapist about the way you've been feeling. It certainly can't hurt, and you might find that having an expert by your side could give you some extra inner strength. It's always nice to know that someone else is on your team.

Constant worry and guilt over nothing... why are you torturing yourself, what do you get out of it?

There is a happy life awaiting you, but I think you would do very well getting professional help so you can leave these negative feelings behind you! :)

I'm in the same boat, I guess. What I've been doing is letting it eat me alive, and that doesn't seem to be working. Listen to these normal people's advice.

On the upside, at least can feel something, right?
