It's always something.

When I open IE7 now, the bottom of the window is not full screen. I have to drag it down in the corner, or hit maximize button.

I thought that Windows was supposed to remember the size of the last setting when the window was closed?

It's only happening on IE7.

I can't find any solution in my online searches.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks...

Open IE7, then maximize the window, Open another IE7 Window, close the First Window, now close the second Window. Now IE7 should have remebered these new settings, open a new Window and it should be Full Screen.

Thanks 99.

Tried it but it didn't work. Still opening up at about 1/2 screen.

Note: after I maximize the 1st IE7 window, the 2nd IE7 window opens at full screen. But once I close them both down, IE7 opens small again.

Any other suggestions??

Open up IE7.
Go to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > ADVANCED
Put a checkmark in Accessibility > Reset Zoom level to 100% for new windows and tabs

Fingers crossed.

JB,

I don't know how you keep track of all these detailed settings!

Unfortunately, it didn't work.

It was already checked, buy I unchecked it, applied, powercycled the PC, then rechecked it. No luck. Any other suggestions?

Thanks, msc...

Does anyone think it would solve the problem to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer using uninstall windows components in Control Panel?

You could try that, but first go to the Advanced Tab in Internet Properties and click "Reset", and see if that works.

99,

It worked! I can't believe it!

You just saved me a ton of work.

Thank you so much...
