I recently met a man I really like. We met through a small project and started talking on the phone for long hours. We know lots of the same people and found out we have many things in common.

He asked me if I was single and I told him, he told me he was single and that he would like to meet me again. But all we´ve done is talk on the phone. We can talk for ages.

Finally, I had to get answers from him for my project, but then he retreated. He called him a couple of time, but he was busy working on something else. He seems to have forgotten about the project.

Now it´s the project´s deadline and he hasn´t called. I don´t want to call him when I know he´s busy, but it bothers me he hasn´t honoured his obligation (projec wise). However, I really want to see him again and speak to him on the phone. I sent him a short email, but haven´t heard anything.

Should I give him a breather and wait? I usually never initiate calls with men, it´s the other way around.

Well if he is bailing out on a project big or small he better have a good reason. To help you put things in perspective, how big of a project do you think a relationship is? Lets cross our fingers and hope he does not want to bail on that one!

It's good that you met someone that you like but sometimes we have to focus on the task at hand and then it's fun and play. I understand you don't want to bother him but remember you have a project to complete with a deadline. Calling him to remind of that isn't bad and if you don't get him, leave a message. When you do talk to him keep focus on the project and be firm.
